Your role
Due to growth we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced BIM engineer to strengthen our team. The company M3C consists of the owner and a colleague -who focuses on structural analysis- and a colleague who does engineering like you.
M3C works for subcontractors in the metal roofing and facade industry. After transfer by the contractor, you are responsible for engineering, further detailing, managing and coordinating drawings and bills of materials for several projects.
These are often special designs for the application of facades and roofs; no two projects are the same.
You know what architects like and convert the most beautiful designs into 3D, within the applicable standards and guidelines of the building industry. You mainly work with Revit, Solibri, Trimble connect and other cloud services.
You are involved in multiple projects simultaneously and independently take on projects from 'A to Z'. This makes your work very varied.
Collaboration & client retention
You work closely with (sub)contractors, architects, and are continuously focused on long-term relationships with clients. You work primarily with established relationships and contact is currently mostly through reports in the drawing programs, by phone and by email. You will have an independent role and be eager to learn and proactive in following relevant market knowledge (courses, webinars, trade shows, project visits) and maintaining contacts to ensure you keep up to date experience in the niche market you work in.
Advancement
In this position you will be given the space to master the specialized knowledge of modeling and in time there is the possibility to grow to work with complex structural calculations.

Having a specialist role, appeals to you and you enjoy the challenge of supervising projects. You are creative in solutions while working in an accurate and structured way. You have a well-developed technical insight and can 'think in images'. You have good communication skills. Finally, you are a team player who likes to contribute to the success and growth of M3C.

M3C is an engineering and construction consultancy firm based in Wezup, Drenthe. Through interest and expertise they are specialists in modeling metal roof- and facade engineering. M3C takes care of structural calculations, roof and facade views and architectural details. In 3D they work together with involved contractors to realize a BIM model of the building.
